A Little Rumination...
Sometimes I think the reason I don't go for Soap Operas on television is that they just don't seem real to me. I mean, constant unfaithfulness? Life-threatening situations? Familial revelations? Strange coincidences? Will-they/won't-they relationships? Give me a break!
My life is far fucking weirder that that...

Those soap operas are just horrendous! My mom used to watch them back when I was a wee one. Now she shakes her head in disbelief that she could have ever been so bored!
I gave up on Star Trek for exactly the same reason

AS - The American ones are even worse that the UK ones, if I remember rightly.
