I have a terrible admission to make...I bloody love Poirot and 'eess little grey cellze' and also Nero Wolfe, confound it, and...oh the shame of it...Inspector Morse...in fact I cried slightly when he died...I should point out however that I am a champion crier.

Does anyone remember that pilot of the 'Mrs. Brown Mysteries' or something, with Diana Rigg in? I thought that was pretty fucking quality. Sherlock Holmes ain't that bad either, we were reading about his opium and cocaine habits in Year 9, which was fun, as there was a bit of class participation, which is always nice.

Waking the Dead ... Silent Witness pre-Sam Ryan's departure ... I like the forensic pathology ones most, although nothing will ever top Basil the Great Mouse detective. That bat still gives me the fucking creeps.
